CERF's Up at the Sea Lab

The Coastal and Estuarine Research Foundation (CERF) held their board meeting at the Sea Lab on April 26-28. Among the attendees were the Presidents of the seven CERF affiliate societies; two at-large board members; a student member; the current, past, and incoming presidents; and the Executive Director. Incoming CERF President, Dr. Ken Heck, Senior Marine Scientist at the DISL, hosted the meeting.
In addition to various committee meetings on Friday and Sunday, the regular board meeting occurred on Saturday the 27th in the Wiese classroom.

After the meeting, the CERF Board had a mini Mullet Toss of their own on the beach in front of DISL, and then enjoyed a crawfish boil under the Horizon Classroom building.

The 22nd Biennial Conference of CERF will be held in San Diego, CA, this year, November 3-7. For more information, visit http://www.sgmeet.com/cerf2013/
